Noah's Blessing was yesterday! It was such a special day and could not have been more perfect. Todd gave a wonderful blessing.
After church we had everyone over for the luncheon, we had a great turn out. I'm so thankful for such supportive friends and family! We have quite a few family members between the two of us, who all have kids of their own. My sister did a head count for the fun of it and counted 80 people! (37 of them were kids)!!! I surprisingly had enough food. I served croissant sandwiches with different meats and cheeses along with salads, fruit, chips, etc. I appreciate all who helped out and brought yummy salads and desserts to share! Saturday morning before I headed to Costco to get the food I stopped by Christina's house to see if she had anything from her Albertsons food run. To my surprise she had a HUGE platter piled high with different meats and cheeses of all kinds. This thing was huge and heavy and probably very expensive if purchased at the store and I got it for free thanks to Christina. It ended up being just what I needed for the luncheon and it fed everyone. Christina also gave me 3 big fruit trays, 7 layer bean dips, and ready made appetizers. I could not believe it! It was perfect!!
I wish I had a picture of the big group but I was pretty busy (I'm sure you can imagine why). I'm happy that I was able to at least get pictures of us with our parents.
Here we are with Todd's parents...Grandma Bettie and Grandpa Steve..
Here is a picture of my parents Grandma Jayne and Grandpa Bill.
(Noah was done with picture taking:)

I waited until the last minute to try and find a white outfit for the blessing. I didn't have any luck so Noah wore a cute little baby blue romper that Mack actually wore. Trevor and Ethan thought his outfit looked girly, like a dress (good thing it was blue:). I thought he looked so cute!
Todd was hopeful that he wouldn't cry during the blessing and sure enough he did. Noah has such a soft cry that hopefully nobody else really noticed.
I made it to Noah's 2 month check up today. He weighs 10 pounds and is 23 inches long. That would make for a long and lean baby (hahaha)! The doctor said that he is healthy and growing fine. He was happy with his 2 1/2 pound weight gain. The doctor said that a pound a month is normal and that he should double his birth weight by the time he is 6 months old. This was a relief to me because everyone comments on how small he is and I was beginning to wonder if I had enough milk and was possibly starving him:).
I'm glad that I went to the Doctor today because he assured me that he is growing well, is healthy, and looks great! He is such a good baby, We love him so much and can't imagine life with out him.
