Introducing my 6th child...

Who new that a new puppy would be so much work?!? All he does is poop, pee, and chew.....good news is that he is Trevor's dog and Trevor gets to take care of him!
Boy is he cute though...He is an English Bull dog and is 8 weeks old. I wasn't too keen on this idea but have to admit, I'm learning to like the thing :)

GOT TICKET?!?!?

So I got my very FIRST ticket yesterday! I"m SO proud of the fact that I have NEVER been pulled over...very proud of that fact HAha! I'm sorry to say it finally happened.
Ethan was at a friends house and it was time for me to go and pick him up. The baby had JUST gone to sleep and I was dying that I was going to have to wake him up. Noah has been nick named "cat napper" because for the past 4 days he has only taken a couple (yes TWO) 15 minute naps throughout the WHOLE day (yes you read that right)!!! So you can understand the fact that I did NOT want to wake him up...so I asked Trevor if he wouldn't mind staying home for probably 7 minutes with my sleeping Noah so that I could go pick up Ethan.
I jumped in the car with the rest of the kids and quickly left...I was on our residential street just about a mile away from my house . The cop car was pulled over on the side of the road with all his lights turned off, yes he was hiding... as I approached the stop sign he started flashing his lights. Hey at least I did a full and complete stop right? :) He got me going 40 mph.
To top it all off I forgot to grab my purse so when he asked me for my license I just about died... it wasn't looking good for me was it?
So the cop gave me my ticket and at the last second I found my purse! I had left it in the car without realizing it from Sunday when I went to visit my parents...so I ended up only getting a ticket for speeding ...thank goodness :)
Anyway, it doesn't feel good to get in trouble.. :) now I'm so nervous to go even a few miles over the speed limit. HA!

Last day of school!!

Summary of our day through pictures...
Mack, Noah , and Kate striking a pose :)

Trevor had a fabulous 5th grade year! He was able to rotate for each subject and had 3 different teachers. His teachers were the best and he did so well. He is growing up to be such a good kid. One more year of Elementry school and then off to middle school...sniff sniff...it's going by too fast!

Ethan's teacher Ms. Green was wonderful. Although Ethan is naturally a good student this teacher really pushed him, he learned a lot and had a great 3rd grade year!

I love Ms. Valliere! Kindergarten was such a fun year for Kate. She has grown up so much this past school year. I can't believe I have a first grader now. Her graduation was cute. The kids sang a few songs then got their certificates.

After school got out I let the kids swim, we ordered pizza and they had a blast.
Our day of festivities is over and I'm tired...Noah had me up bright and early at 6:30am, I enjoy spending that time with him when everyone else is sleeping because he is in such a good, happy mood first thing in the mornings. All smiles and coos...it's just the best!
Here is a picture of Kate at her Kindergarten party yesterday. She was super excited that she got to wear her swim suit to school (under her clothes). They had a bunch of different water games to play. Mack even got to join in the fun!

Has it really been a week?

Isn't this guy a little cutie?!? I just LOVE him! He is getting so much personality, and is so much fun (except when he won't sleep:).
Last weekend Todd and I went to a wedding reception at the Mission Inn. It was so much fun. We got to see a lot of old friends that I grew up with and hang out with my parents and two sisters. The food was out of this world. They had dancing, and fun entertainment..it was just a great night. I loved how it was decorated. My Mom took this picture of the table, isn't it pretty!
Tomorrow is the last day of school! I will post pictures of the kids fun activities and Kate's Kindergarten graduation!

A Special Day!

Noah's Blessing was yesterday! It was such a special day and could not have been more perfect. Todd gave a wonderful blessing.
After church we had everyone over for the luncheon, we had a great turn out. I'm so thankful for such supportive friends and family! We have quite a few family members between the two of us, who all have kids of their own. My sister did a head count for the fun of it and counted 80 people! (37 of them were kids)!!! I surprisingly had enough food. I served croissant sandwiches with different meats and cheeses along with salads, fruit, chips, etc. I appreciate all who helped out and brought yummy salads and desserts to share! Saturday morning before I headed to Costco to get the food I stopped by Christina's house to see if she had anything from her Albertsons food run. To my surprise she had a HUGE platter piled high with different meats and cheeses of all kinds. This thing was huge and heavy and probably very expensive if purchased at the store and I got it for free thanks to Christina. It ended up being just what I needed for the luncheon and it fed everyone. Christina also gave me 3 big fruit trays, 7 layer bean dips, and ready made appetizers. I could not believe it! It was perfect!!

I wish I had a picture of the big group but I was pretty busy (I'm sure you can imagine why). I'm happy that I was able to at least get pictures of us with our parents.

Here we are with Todd's parents...Grandma Bettie and Grandpa Steve..
Here is a picture of my parents Grandma Jayne and Grandpa Bill.
(Noah was done with picture taking:)

I waited until the last minute to try and find a white outfit for the blessing. I didn't have any luck so Noah wore a cute little baby blue romper that Mack actually wore. Trevor and Ethan thought his outfit looked girly, like a dress (good thing it was blue:). I thought he looked so cute!
Todd was hopeful that he wouldn't cry during the blessing and sure enough he did. Noah has such a soft cry that hopefully nobody else really noticed.

I made it to Noah's 2 month check up today. He weighs 10 pounds and is 23 inches long. That would make for a long and lean baby (hahaha)! The doctor said that he is healthy and growing fine. He was happy with his 2 1/2 pound weight gain. The doctor said that a pound a month is normal and that he should double his birth weight by the time he is 6 months old. This was a relief to me because everyone comments on how small he is and I was beginning to wonder if I had enough milk and was possibly starving him:).
I'm glad that I went to the Doctor today because he assured me that he is growing well, is healthy, and looks great! He is such a good baby, We love him so much and can't imagine life with out him.
