I'm still here :)

I can't believe that I'm due in two days! Holy cow!! I really believe that I will go over though and really that's OK with me. We are so busy with the boys sports schedules and everything else that's going on that it's easier to have the baby inside than out right now :) However, I'm so excited to meet him and see what he looks like and kiss and hold him. I can't wait for that! It's going to be so neat to have a newborn again in the family. I feel so lucky!!!
This weekend was really fun. First I will start with Friday. My Mom came over, it was really great having her here as usual. She helped me get all the laundry done and she made dinner. She also brought over one of those diaper cakes it turned out so cute! I should have taken a picture. Thanks Mom!
Saturday was my sister in-law Jaime's baby shower. She is having her first girl after two boys. It was fun getting together with all the cousins and of course the food was great. She got a lot of really cute things. That night Ethan got invited to go to a birthday party for my nephew Shaun at the drive in movie. We haven't been to a drive in movie in so long so I decided to take the rest of us, we saw "Horton hears a who". Here is a picture of everyone (minus Ethan) in the back of the car. It was a lot of fun and way cheaper than the regular movies. Children under 9 are free!

Sunday, church was great (I love our 11:30 time) and then we headed to my in-laws for dinner. The kids just love going there on Sunday's, it has really turned into a wonderful tradition. My Father in-law has started a little farm with chickens, a cow, a horse, so along with the rest of the 5 acres the kids have a blast running around and getting dirty!
Todd and I took Mack and went for a walk. It was so beautiful (everything is so green still). My in-laws live out in the hills where there are not a lot of houses around. It was quiet and peaceful. I was hoping we wouldn't find coyotes or snakes on the way :). It was also fun having a little one on one time with Mack since he will be graduating and won't be the baby in the family soon :)
Isn't that true, the baby of the family is always the baby until a new baby comes. I know he will seem so big once the baby is here. (Notice we still don't have a name :)

Easter recap...

We had a great Easter weekend!
Ethan waiting patiently for his turn to hunt for eggs:)

The kids had so much fun finding their Easter baskets and all the eggs that the Easter bunny hid throughout the house. This is a picture before we left for church.

Saturday we were able to dye Easter eggs, they had so much fun!

Right before the big egg hunt at Grandma and Grandpa Thompson's house. The kids had fun as always with all their cousins!

Kate scored finding a bunch of eggs!

Going to LA tomorrow!

I'm so excited to go to LA tomorrow with my Mom. Were heading there to get fabric for curtains that she is going to make for me. It's so nice having a Mom who can sew:)
My cousin is down with her family for the week to go to Disneyland. She is coming along, but what's even better is she is an interior designer so she will totally help me pick the fabric out. I need someone with a good eye like her. Plus, I seem to never be able to make up my mind when it comes to things like that.

Time just seems to be flying by for me. I have two more weeks until the baby arrives! I can't believe it! I do have everything ready, clothes washed and put away, car seat bought, everything is all set, all we need is baby now:) I have to admit, I'm enjoying these last few days of good sleep. As much as I cant wait to meet my little guy I know how much work it is at first and all the sleepless nights that come along with a newborn. Sleep has always been very important to me :) hahaha

I was released from my calling on Sunday. I was the 2nd counselor in YW and now I am the new YW secretary. It will be great because I can still be with all the YW that I love but the responsibilities will be so much easier for me with the new baby.

Yesterday Trevor was throwing his "hard" baseball up on top of the garage, well I walked by just at the right point in time when the ball was rolling off and it hit me right smack on the nose between the eyes. Can I just say that is the most painful thing I have experienced in a long time. I'm wondering if I broke it (which is a bummer because I already have a bump on my nose from when I broke it when I was 10). Anyway, today I have had a very sore head and nose. Even when I chew food it hurts. It's a little swollen too. I couldn't help it but I even started crying when it happened. I'm either a huge baby when it comes to pain (I think so) or it really hurt. I have never really gotten hurt like that and cried in front of the boys. Poor Trevor he felt really bad. O-well I'm sure it wont be the last ball injury here at our house :)

Happy 22nd Birthday Candice!

Candice is the youngest in our family. I remember when she was born. I was SO excited! My Mom went in for a scheduled c-section and I remember I could not sleep that night because I was so excited to go see them the next morning. We are exactly 10 years apart and we are the only two in the family with red hair. All if us girls used to fight over who would get to hold, feed, change her etc. so my Mom decided to give each of us one day out of the week that we were in charge of her and she was all ours. If we wanted to let someone else hold her that was up to us. We always shared so that when it was the other persons turn they would also share her. She had 4 other mom's with all of us girls:)
Candice is the BEST at cutting hair, I have never found anyone who cuts hair better!
Candice and Troy (her husband) are so cute together and have such a good relationship.
Candice has always been the funny one in the family, she makes us all laugh, she is a lot of fun!
Happy Birthday Candice!!! I hope your day is great!

Good Mail is so great!!

There is just something so great about opening your mail box and finding a package! Amie sent me this wonderful gift for the baby and a little something for me. The outfit is so soft and cute and I absolutely love the stationary and the letter "K". Thank you so much Amie, I love it!!!!!
Thank you for the sweet card too.
I'm so excited for this weekend! Tonight I am getting together with a few girls at my friend Maryann's house for a movie in her new media room (I will take a picture, it's awesome). We are celebrating our friend Shawna's birthday. Tomorrow Christina got a few friends together to go to dinner at my favorite restaurant, the Cheesecake Factory. My husband is nice enough to take the kids alone two nights in a row. Thanks Todd!
Tomorrow is opening day ceremonies for Little League baseball so it will be a fun filled busy day!

Sister power!

This weekend was so fun!

Friday we took the family out to dinner after Trevor's baseball practice. It was short and sweet and then we went home.

Saturday was my day out with my sisters, we met up and did a little shopping, followed by Cheesecake Factory, followed by some more shopping and visiting at our good friend Erin's house. I was determined to find an infant car seat at Babies R Us and didn't have much luck. Why is it so hard for me to find something I like? If anyone knows of a good car seat, please let me know:) However, I did find some really cute earrings and necklace (that were on sale..that is the best part :)

Sunday we went to church. Right when we got home everyone was at my house for our Early Easter dinner. Best food ever followed by the Easter egg hunt (thanks Mom). Everyone ended up winning money from the hunt except for my nephew Adam who didn't even get a dollar. To our surprise, at the end my Mom had a special "secret egg" for the person who received the least amount of money, so Adam ended up being the big winner of the "secret egg" and won $50 dollars!

Chrisitna was so nice and came over to take some pictures of our whole family! That is a project in itself! We were all together every single one of us so my Mom really wanted a group picture. She already said she is using it for her Christmas card...dang why must I be 9 months pregnant for the picture:)

Tomorrow we are all meeting up at Disneyland. We are all excited for that! Hopefully I will be able to keep up on my feet for the whole day...that's a lot of walking.
