Feelin good...

It's Friday and I just got back from my morning run and I feel really good! I had a great run, it was so warm outside, 65 degrees at 7:30 in the morning. I love that I have two days off (Saturday and Sunday) until I have to go running again. I always feel good "After" I'm done but it's always hard to get myself motivated. I love Friday's! Not much going on today though. Trevor has a baseball game later on tonight. I have missed the last couple games so I will for sure go tonight. Dinner at the snack bar tonight...wahoo!

My Lands End bathing suit order came in and it looks like I'm going to keep one of the three. The suit fits really good and I love it! It looks black in the picture but it's a really pretty olive green. Now all I need is a good tan! hahaha I ordered the Victoria Secret one too, that should be in soon and I can see which one I like the best...maybe I will just have to keep both of them!

Saw "Wicked" last night...

Last night I was able to go and see the Broadway show Wicked at the Pantages Theater in Hollywood. It was so good! The story was incredible and the music was out of this world. I bought the sound track and can't wait to listen to it. I went with my sister and Mom. We had so much fun! The show started at 8:00pm and was around three hours long. I didn't get home until 1:00am. I'm a little tired today but so worth it! Here is a picture of us before we left for the show.




Tonight we are going out for Todd's sister's birthday. Trevor did have a game tonight but I think it will be cancelled due to the rain. We have a wedding to go to tomorrow so I have to go and get a gift for that today. Busy, fun weekend ahead!

SPT...$100 shopping spree

If I were given a $100 dollar bill I would go out and get me a new swimsuit.
I bought myself a new suit for our trip last weekend. I bought it at Walmart, It was cute and I didn't spend a fortune ($13.00 to be exact) but it's not the best quality which means it didn't hold me up very well (and boy do I need some holding up)! hahaha

So with my $100, I would get a new "good quality" swimsuit. Why is it that they have to cost so much money?!?!?

Spring Break trip to Palm Springs...

We just got back from a wonderful weekend getaway to Palm Springs. Two years ago we signed up to listen to a 90 minute presentation and in return stay at the resort. We had such a great time. The weather was beautiful, 85 degree's! It was so nice. The kids had such a fun time too. We didn't buy the time share (too much money). Here are a few pictures of our trip.

Why???

Saturday's are my only days to sleep in. WHY is it that everyday Mack sleeps in til 8 or 9 but the ONE day I'm able to sleep in he wakes up at 7????? It's just so not fair...Ok I know 7 isn't that bad but come on...why???

Today I need to dye Easter eggs with the kids and if I really feel like being nice I might make homemade sugar cookies. The only problem with that is I will want to eat 10 of them, those are my favorite! We have a Ward Easter brunch at the park today so the kids are looking forward to that. Later on today we have baseball games.

Thursday

Todd and the two older boys went fishing this afternoon. Todd got invited to go with his brother in law and nephews who are out of school this week for spring break. The boys were so excited to get out of school early and spend the day with their Dad.

Tonight was back to school night. I went ahead and went even though the boys were gone. It just wasn't the same, it's so much better to go with the kids because it really is all about them and I enjoy seeing how happy they are to show off their work.

Not much else to say, other than I have been extra tired today so I'm excited to go to bed tonight!!! Yah for Friday tomorrow!

Gonna be sore!

I went to the gym today and took a body sculpting class, we lifted free weighs practically the whole time and I am so sore already. It was the first time taking the class so I asked the girl next to me what kind of weights I should use. She said to start out with 2 and 4 pound because we use them the whole hour....I went ahead and grabbed the 4 and 6 pound weights. Boy was I wrong! I lasted maybe 20 minutes into the routine before i dropped from the 6lb to the 4lb then i ended the class using the 2lb...my arms and legs (from all the squats) felt like jello, it was pretty funny! Christina got there right when the class started and used the 8 pound weights because that's all that was left...it was so funny! Tomorrow won't be fun that's for sure...

Most ot the day today I have been working on my California Mission Project (I mean Trevor's California Mission Project-hahaha). It's due tomorrow and I'm happy to report that it's finished! YAH!
