After church we had everyone over for the luncheon, we had a great turn out. I'm so thankful for such supportive friends and family! We have quite a few family members between the two of us, who all have kids of their own. My sister did a head count for the fun of it and counted 80 people! (37 of them were kids)!!! I surprisingly had enough food. I served croissant sandwiches with different meats and cheeses along with salads, fruit, chips, etc. I appreciate all who helped out and brought yummy salads and desserts to share! Saturday morning before I headed to Costco to get the food I stopped by Christina's house to see if she had anything from her Albertsons food run. To my surprise she had a HUGE platter piled high with different meats and cheeses of all kinds. This thing was huge and heavy and probably very expensive if purchased at the store and I got it for free thanks to Christina. It ended up being just what I needed for the luncheon and it fed everyone. Christina also gave me 3 big fruit trays, 7 layer bean dips, and ready made appetizers. I could not believe it! It was perfect!!
I wish I had a picture of the big group but I was pretty busy (I'm sure you can imagine why). I'm happy that I was able to at least get pictures of us with our parents.
Here we are with Todd's parents...Grandma Bettie and Grandpa Steve..
Here is a picture of my parents Grandma Jayne and Grandpa Bill.
(Noah was done with picture taking:)

I waited until the last minute to try and find a white outfit for the blessing. I didn't have any luck so Noah wore a cute little baby blue romper that Mack actually wore. Trevor and Ethan thought his outfit looked girly, like a dress (good thing it was blue:). I thought he looked so cute!

Todd was hopeful that he wouldn't cry during the blessing and sure enough he did. Noah has such a soft cry that hopefully nobody else really noticed.
I made it to Noah's 2 month check up today. He weighs 10 pounds and is 23 inches long. That would make for a long and lean baby (hahaha)! The doctor said that he is healthy and growing fine. He was happy with his 2 1/2 pound weight gain. The doctor said that a pound a month is normal and that he should double his birth weight by the time he is 6 months old. This was a relief to me because everyone comments on how small he is and I was beginning to wonder if I had enough milk and was possibly starving him:).
I'm glad that I went to the Doctor today because he assured me that he is growing well, is healthy, and looks great! He is such a good baby, We love him so much and can't imagine life with out him.

Those are some cute pictures Kristen and score on the food. I bet in your house it didn't even feel like you had 80 people in there--you have such a sweet open great room. I'm glad you guys had a great day, congratulations again!!
P.S. I love your new picture with you profile, very cute.
I'm glad the blessing day was a special one. They always are. 80 people??? Yikes. That's awesome! He is darling! My kids were always 10 lbs. at 2 months. I don't have big babies. Noah does look long. :D
By the way, you look great!
great update! loved noah's latest picture, he's a cute mixture of all your beautiful kids
mom
WOW 80 people, that's a lot of work! It's great you had help with the food.
Well, congratulations Noah on your blessing day, you're such a cutie!
Jessica was exactly 10lbs at 2 months (it seems like James was 11-something). I love when babies stay babies... the butterball look isn't my favorite. (Rude, I know. "All babies are cute.")
I'm glad Noah's blessing day was so special for your family.
We had such a great time. I love that Mack and Trenton are such great buddies.
I was never worried about Noah. He is just like Kate, long and lean:)
80 people! All of us know how stressful that is. What great finds at Christina's. Sometimes I want to email her just to see what food finds I'm missing out on.
The last picture here he reminds me of Trevor.
So glad everything went good for the blessing. Sorry we weren't able to make it. Sounds like we missed a bunch of fun, but I know a lot of work for you. Noah is too cute and I can't wait to see him one of these days.
oh so much to comment on!!
your welcome on the food--i still cant believe how we scored on all that on THAT day!! meant to be huh!

80 people REALLY?? and to think my family was the only one NOT related to you guys?!?! i feel like we are always at thompons/mccook events that we are one..or both..
i thought about bringing my camera to take photos..but i figured erin would-now im made that i didnt! i should have taken a photo from the loft downstairs to show how many people were really there!
glad the dr made you feel better about his size...i would think stressing about it would make it harder for the milk to produce...
and amie's comment STILL has me laughinG!!
I am so glad you had a wonderful blessing day. THose days can be so stressful getting ready for the luncheon. All the pictures are so cute.
What a great blessing day! Noah is so cute! 80 people?! Wow..you had your work cut out for you! Don't you just feel such a great sense of relief after they are blessed??
What a fun time. How great you had so many family and friends to support you and your family on Noah's special day. Congratulations!
I'm glad that you had such a wonderful blessing for Noah. How special to be able to have so much family attend! (Stressful and crazy too though! ;-) I can't believe how big he's getting! He is still as cute as ever.
I missed this post! I get so behind these days.
Love Noah with his grandparents, so cute. I almost bought a blue outfit cause the white ones are so hard to find. Sounds like a great party with 80 people. So glad you scored on the food.
It sounds like a perfect blessing. He is such a cutie! I think it is wonderful that Christina had all of the party food for you! I love reading about her Albertson runs. You look wonderful Kristin!!! I remember at a few of my kids blessings trying to find something for the baby to wear, and something for me to fit into! :)
