new post!

I'm sure your all glad that I'm finally posting again so that you don't have to take another look a our Halloween Happenings pictures hahaha it's gets old seeing old posts I'm sure :)

So on to our weekend recap. Todd was out of town so I got to hang with the kiddies single parent style. Friday night the boys had football practice we hit weinerschintzal :) now I KNOW i spelt that wrong! We then headed home. We all got to bed early because the boys had a football game the next morning and had to be there by 7:00 am. Luckily my brother and his wife Taryn stayed the night. I was able to leave Kate and Mack asleep while I dropped the boys off real quick. They stayed the night because Ryan had a game of golf planned with his friends here in Riverside (he lives in LA) and Taryn had a baby shower to go to locally. I was glad they were here so I wouldn't be alone. Remember, I'm a chicken when it comes to sleeping alone when Todd is gone. It worked out great!

Saturday after the games the kids hung out with Uncle Ryan and then we headed off to see the new Bee movie. My sister Carolee joined us along with her two kids. It was fun, after the movies Carolee came back to the house for pizza and the kids played. Sunday was church and I thoroughly enjoyed the extra hour of sleep. It made 9:00 church great and we actually made it on time :)

After church we headed to Todd's parents house for dinner then came home and got the kids ready for bed. It was so great they actually went to bed an hour earlier! They are still on the old time so hurray! My kids were actually in bed by 9:00. Yes, they normally go to bed at 10:00. I know it's pretty sad but what can I say, it's the truth!! so needless to say I'm loving the new time change! The boys started basketball so they had their first practice on Monday. Todd will be coaching Trevor's team. Football is almost over (can't wait) Ethan's team made it to the play-offs, so just a few more weeks of football and then we are done! I really enjoy basketball. It's so much more low key than football.
Tonight is dress rehearsal for the Roadshow. I will be glad to have it over with. It's one of those things where I have to be there to just be there, but I don't really have a part in anything. My job was to help with costumes, and since we are pretty much done with that I go and sit. I would much rather be home with the family.
Our ward has a really cute script and it's been fun watching the youth take part in it. (but I'm ready for it to be over :)

I am a lover of the time change too.

Did you guys like the Bee Movie? I wanted to see it... the kids saw it over the weekend while we were gone so I guess I will be waiting for the $1 show or dvd. I hate paying for movies once... I am not going to pay twice.

Your weekend sounded fun. I like it when things go better than I had planned when Jimmy is out of town.

I am still trying to get to how dark it gets so early!! My girls think we are letting them stay up really late (they are used to going to bed when it is still light outside)...now they have an hour of darkness before bed and I heard my oldest telling my younger one that they were staying up until midnight!

Roadshows are SO MUCH work...if only we realised that as youth!

We don't change times here in Arziona. No extra sleep for us! :) It sounds like you had a busy weekend! How are you feeling?

I had no idea they still did roadshows. Costumes would be a lot of work. I know what you mean when you will be glad it's over. Good luck :)

We are adjusting to the time change here too. I decided I'm not a huge fan of it. They are getting up too early and I am no morning person!

I can't wait for you to be done with the roadshow. It sounds fun but it will be one less thing on your list!
