This pictures is the story of my life!

I walked into the TV room and found the boys having a blast! They will do anything for a good game of basketball. I just had to document this, it definitely made me laugh!
Kate and I spent Saturday together...just the girls! I surprised her and took her to get her toes done. She thought it was pretty cool. She picked out hot pink (of course). After that we walked around the mall, and got an ice cream cone. I love that she is finally at the age where we can do things like this together.
Saturday night was Jon Hales birthday party. Christina did a fabulous job with great food and fun entertainment. It was fun to be with Jon and see him so happy. I usually am in and out when I go to their house so it was fun to see him in a social atmosphere having fun. The animal game we play is always a hit! I got to see Jon Bytheway, he was the celebrity guest-haha. Jon Bytheway is a famous LDS speaker and author. I met him at my very first Youth Conference at Catalina Island when I was 14. It was fun to meet his wife (who is Jon's cousin) and their 5 kids. Today is pretty low key. My sister Joy might come over and hang out. I just got caught up on the Oprah show where they talk about De-cluttering. Oh I'm so motivated to do that now. Hopefully I will still be in the mood tomorrow.

oooh. I need to watch that! Everyone could use a little less clutter in life! How fun that you and Kate had a girls' day. Those are some of my most cherished memories of my mom...

That's pretty cute what the boys did. Looks like they are ready for a hoop upgrade. We have that same basketball hoop outside.

I watched the decluttering show too. It got me motivated!

So cute! I need to start Tivo-ing Oprah again, I feel like I am missing some great episodes! I need a good de-cluttering!

I am laughing at your picture because we have three black stools and my boys do the same thing up to their basketball hoop.

Sounds like a fun party. I love Jon Bytheway. I think he is a great speaker. Shows like that always give me a boost to do my own house. Ummm maybe I should have watched it.

It is so fun to have a daughter to go out with. Oh and also don't forget to mention about the rainforest cafe's other mishap with Julia getting Kate's gum stuck in her hair. That was fun!

I just read mom's response. Don't you love how she spelled Jon Bytheway's name by the way? It is almost as good as when she spelled Tee bo instead of TiVo.

The basketball arrangement looks like a scene from my house (except cleaner) My kids are always "inventing" some kind of contraption.

I so need to de-clutter. I watched that Oprah too.

The picture is so clasic! I think anyone who has boys has had that same thing. What is up with that?

I love being able to get out with my girls. It is so fun to be able to go and do girly things with them. We have a salon here that will paint their nails put on make up and do their hair any way they want ( they always pick a princess) and it is only 7$! We always do it over father and sons weekend.
