Sorry to dissapoint...

I just can't think of ANYTHING for my self portrait Tuesday shot. I have never really had any one thing that brings me "good luck". I feel like a pretty "lucky" girl when it comes to the important things in life but for the little things I feel like I don't have much "luck". Here are a few examples why...

I never choose the quick check-out line at the grocery store. Even when I'm standing in a line and it's going really slow I will change to another line and that one will be twice as slow!

If I'm running late I always hit every red light.

I never get a good parking spot at the mall during Christmas time.

I have never won the game where they pull your name out of a hat.

OK so these things really aren't that big of a deal but you get my point right?!?!?

I enjoyed reading everybody's SPT posts today!!

I can relate. I never win door prizes, and I usually pick the wrong line at the store, though I'm getting luckier in that regard.

Oops. My comment posted too soon. Anyway, thankfully like you said these aren't the really important things in life, but someday when we do win that prize it's going to be exciting!

I feel the same way. I always think I 'might' win but never really believe I will. Maybe that's the trick?

We have a lot in common with the lines at the store. I am always switching lines. I will look over at the line I just left, and realize I would have been slmost done if I had stayed! I really have never believed much in luck, just blessings. :) Have a wonderful day.

For sure! What matters most is that we are lucky with the important things in life-family, friends husbands etc.. I loved your post. It would be nice to win a million bucks though wouldnt it??????? haha

You are so cute. I couldn't think of one either hence my cheesy comb...which really doesn't bring me luck. I NEVER win anything in fact we have a home owners meeting tomorrow I really want to go because most people don't show up and maybe I could win something. How sad is that?

I feel like I ALWAYS pick the slowest line at any store too. It's maddening. I think it's only been once or twice that a new line was opened and I was next, otherwise I'm always in the line that needs a price check, a manager's authorization, or new receipt tape. Aargh!

You are so funny! I can relate with the check out at the store. Cute post about your "bad" luck.

Kristen....well I found your blog and I'm going to comment! I think you and I are standing in the same line at the grocery store...it's almost a joke for me now since I ALWAYS pick the longest line.
Looks like New York was awesome! I can't wait until I can go someday, who knows when that will be?!

Christina...are you in the weight loss challenge? Watch out girl b/c I'm motivated like crazy... :-)

Cute spin on the "lucky" post. At least you did it, I was irritated with my camera situation and didn't even do it.

Fun to see your New York pictures. It looks like you guys had a really great time!

I have the same luck!! It always happens to me and Jason that way.

Fun NY pictures. I can't wait till I can get over there. One of the places we want to go.

I remember swimming all the time! I loved it. THat is one of the things I miss the most about not living in CA anymore is having my own pool to swim in.
